RFIC Design Engineer

Tasks:

  • Design some of the following components: phase locked loop synthesizers, voltage-controlled oscillators, low-noise amplifiers, up- and down-mixers, gm-C filters, RF and baseband variable gain amplifiers, power amplifier drivers, and necessary bias circuitry such as op-amps and bandgap references.
  • Perform transistor-level circuit design, simulation, layout, layout guidance, and design documentation in minimum supervision
  • Participate in system-level modeling and simulation

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years in deep submicron CMOS RFIC design
  • Experience with Cadence SpectreRF, Mentor Graphics Caribre, and EM simulation tools
  • Firm track records of successful tape out and design experience in deep submicron CMOS RFIC
  • Hands-on lab experience for testing and debugging to characterize RFICs using vector signal analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscope, noise figure meters, etc.

Tasks:

Tasks:

Tasks:

Field Application Engineer Manager/Director

Tasks:

  • Lead in developing new and innovative physical design flows.

Technical Writer

Tasks:

The technical writer for the software team will work with engineers and engineering managers to investigate and capture engineering designs, specifications, and relevant operational data, from chip concept through reference design delivery. The technical writer will transform these data into meaningful documents for both internal and external use, including but not limited to:

  • Data sheets
  • Functional specifications.
  • Design specifications (both new and legacy)
  • Test reports
  • Errata sheets
  • Release notes
  • Reference design guides
  • Programming guides
  • Application notes
  • Internal methodology and process documentation

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • BS in electrical or software engineering preferred.
  • Hardware engineering experience in design or test is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ASIC/FPGA, embedded real-time software is an asset.
  • Ability to work on several projects at the same time, and on time driven projects
  • Autonomous, self organized.
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
